About
The Full Story
The Beat & The Frame Art Institute was founded by a team of creatives and educators who understand firsthand the powerful influence music and cinema have on young people. What students see and what they hear shape how they view themselves, their communities, and the world. Outside of parenting, few forces influence youth culture as strongly as the arts.
Rather than standing by and criticizing negative influences, The Beat & The Frame chooses action. Through intentional, school-based programs in music and cinema, the Institute uses the arts as a tool to encourage critical thinking, positive expression, and personal growth. Our work challenges students to see new possibilities for their lives while developing skills in creativity, collaboration, and storytelling.
By partnering with schools and communities, The Beat & The Frame Art Institute uses music and film to positively impact students, strengthen communities, and contribute to cultural growth at the local and state level.
